How to keep occupied on a 20+ hour train journey? I’m learning loop embroidery. Since I started volunteering at SCRAP a couple of months ago, I’ve stumbled across a lot of cool stuff. This kit falls into that category.

Drew a quick pattern of a Kingdom of Loathing sabre toothed lime, and ran with it from there. So far, so good! The directions say the denser the fabric the better, so I am thinking about playing with some velveteen and other fun stuff once I get the basics mastered..

Also started knitting a scarf as a Christmas gift. Sent out a "request lines open now" email this week letting everyone know I am accepting hints for knitted Chistmas gifts. One response so far.
